When the dust cleared, it was Vishal Patel outlasting 213 players to take home the Borgata Poker Open championship trophy and the $17,353 for first place.
Patel was able to outlast a strong Final Table, despite coming to the final grouping with just under an average stack.
Patel outlasted Joseph Chaplin, a former Borgata Champion, who finished 2nd for $10,227 and Jeremy Mills, who wanted to give a shout out to “Munko”, who finished 3rd for $5,888.
Both of the days tournaments went to into the early morning hours, with over a day and a half of play combined over the two events.
Players and blog followers are urged to rest up though, as tomorrow will be another long day in the Borgata Poker Room.
Aside from the Final Table of the WPT BPO Championship, there will also be the final trophy event of the BPO, with Event 24 – Deepest Stack NLH, starting at 11 AM. This is always a favorite event for players looking to get the most “bang for their buck”, as players will all start with a mind boggling 50,000 in chips.
Follow all the action live here and make sure to follow the WPT BPO Championship as well.
