David Jackson and Ryan Hohner are sharing the felt on one of the outer tables. Andrew Klein is also in the mix and it’s shaping up to be one of the toughest tables in the room. Jackson has earned more than $1,500,000 throughout his poker career including two Borgata Poker titles.
Ryan Hohner has amassed over $368,000 in live tournament earnings and his largest career cash came here at the Borgata. Hohner finished second in January’s BWPO $600 NLH $2,000,000 GTD massive 4,515 entry field earning more than $245,000 after an adjusted payout deal.
Although Hohner has notched countless tournament cashes the New Jersey pro is still looking for his first major title. He is getting involved in plenty of pots here in the early levels and will surely be one to keep an eye on as the tournament progresses.

Chris Reslock won his WSOP bracelet playing Seven Card Stud back in 2007 and he has numerous other titles won playing both Stud H/L and Omaha H/L — Not to mention the titles he holds playing HOSE, HORSE, NLH, PLO, and PLO High/Low. This Omaha/Stud mix is right up his alley.
Here at Borgata, Chris has garnered three titles. He won the Pot Limit Omaha event during both the 2009 Borgata Poker Open and the 2010 Winter Poker Open and then took down the HORSE event during the 2012 Winter Poker Open.
It’s been a while since he’s taken home a Borgata trophy, so he’s due for another trip to the winner’s circle.

Last September, this event drew 94 players and it came down to two of Borgata’s best mixed games players. Vincent Basilicata and Justin Finberg dueled for less than an hour to reach the conclusion. It was Vincent who walked away with 1st place, $12,126, and the 2017 BPO OE trophy. This was his third Borgata title, but his first playing Omaha/Stud mix. His first title in 2010 was in the HOSE event with twice as many games in the mix.
We’ll be on the lookout to see if Vincent returns to defend his title.

And now for something completely different!
The Omaha/Stud High/Low mixed game event has begun in the temporary tournament area between the Poker Room and the Signature Room. Players get 20,000 in tournament chips to start and levels are all 30 minutes long.
Late registration is open until the start of level 10 (at least 8:15pm, but possibly later following a dinner break).
This is a freeze-out, so no re-entries are allowed. It’s a two-day event, so play will continue until 18 players or 2am. Remaining players will bag their chips for the night and return at 12 noon Wednesday for Day 2.
For the first time ever, there’s a $25,000 guarantee on total buy-ins for this event.

Dawn Wilensky’s best live cash of $15,842 was for a win at a tournament in Connecticut, but she’s got a couple of wins here at Borgata as well. The most recent was earlier this year during the Spring Poker Open, when she won the Ladies event.
Guy Cicconi won the 2016 Winter Poker Open Seniors NLH event, earning more than $14,000. He’s retired and relocated to Las Vegas, but still returns to Borgata for the best tournaments. His lifetime earnings have exceeded $508,000.
