Event 13 of the Borgata Poker Open was the $450 Almighty Stack NLH with a $1,000,000 guarantee. Once again there was another massive turnout and 2,791 entries created a prize pool of $1,082,908.
When the final six Almighty Stack players returned from dinner break they began to discuss an adjusted payout agreement. Before a single hand was dealt the players struck an agreement and agreed to run one hand out for the trophy.
Fernando DaCruz who held the chip lead at the time of the deal takes first place and his largest career tournament cash earning $115,667.
Oscar Menjivar was the winner of the final hand and earns his first Borgata Poker Open along with his largest career tournament score of $98,109.
