Walsh, now on two, seems to be always involved. Here he faces a four bet all in from Steve Berkowitz. Mark Sykes, left, looks on.

Steve gets it through Dan. In fact, he wins the next pot and has very quietly rose past 250,000 and among the leaders.
Marguerite is out just a few to the money.

Fatios, left, was short on chips (but no confidence, predicting a FT) – but picked up the Birds for an easy double. Here with his new stack he jams over the beleagured Fermane. “The first one was good,” Joe laments.
Berkowitz, continues to roll. In fact, he knocks out Chip and a Chair Jason Pardy, over
on a
flop. Steve hits a ten on the river to close the door emphatically on Jason’s comeback from one blind back at 200/400.
We move to the stone bubble. Walsh, Klodie, and Berkowitz are the big stacks at around 300,000.

Tonios Abiyaghi fires into a monotone flop multiway – hard to do, hard to defend against. Needed chips for the short stack.

On 1, Marguerite S. tosses in her hand, one card at a time. James Pupillo is on her left. “Young Pup” is Nick Pupillo’s brother.

James here in action against Jose Reyes. He manages to get a street of thin value from Jose with a deceptive 9h7h from UTG.

Another tough spot on 4. Big stack Chun Lee faces a lead from Dan Walsh and a shove from the UTG opener on a turn king – very likely to have hit the raiser hard.

Lee flats, and Dan sits far back in his chair. He’s flushing, and now getting a price. He makes the call.

Heart on the river – gin for Dan. He shoves into the sidepot with Lee, who looks at the naked ace of hearts in his hand – right corner – before pitching it. Huge pot for Walsh, and the table immediately breaks with the exit of the all-in short stack.
Just a few off the money now.

The players are on a short break.

The dealer gets the exact count of Alli Schultz’ stack. She was nearly dead on the flop against seat one’s flopped broadway.
Alli got the money in on the turn when she hit two pair. Four outs to save her – and it came. Later, it turned out to be even less likely, as the seat beside her had folded her hand in another suit.

John Klodie continues to gather, now seated next to Mark Glazewski. Here he opens kings and flops top set – that helps!

Tough spot for Andrew Klein, who can’t get away from it. Note Jason Pardy on the right – still here.
Klein ultimately pays off the value bluff from tournament star Nick Pupillo, who turned aces into a bluff on a horrible runout for the PFR. The unexpected double for a dangerous player is no good for anyone.

At the end of level 11, an interesting spot developed between several of the most noted players at chip-heavy table 3.
The aggressive Secor opened from under the gun and was met with EP flat from chip leader Chun Lee, who now has over 200,000. Multiple Borgata trophy winner Barry Leventhal called from the button with an average stack, the small folded, and Dan Walsh called.

Leventhal on the button against Secor, right, and the big stacks, while the small blind catches a quick nap.
A very dangerous board was dealt, and the players proceeded with caution, the action checking through.
The gave Dan his opportunity to win with what was likely the worst hand. Holding the naked nut blocker, he led into the field for 9,000, just over half pot. Secor and Lee released, but Barry made the call.
The river was not a blank, filling two pairs which could be in either players’ range. Dan now bombed it 30,000, a substantial portion of Barry’s stack.
Leventhal paused, but leaning forward, did not appear to want to fold. After representing the flush, Barry possibly thought Dan would not bet again on the board pair, but whatever the case, found a call with the flopped low straight, .
Dan simply nodded when Barry put in the chips, and flipped over the bluff high in the air. Big pot for Barry, who is now well above average with 150,000.

On the last hand of the level, Monro Secor bet 3,600 on the river with the board reading . Kimberly LeJeune made the crying call with her
for the straight.
Monro had the nuts, however, with his for the flush. He collected the pot, chipping up to ~110,000 as they head off for a one-hour dinner break.
Play will resume at ~7:50pm.
As of dinner, it appears that Dan Walsh is the chip leader with ~160,000.

Somehow still here: Jason Pardy, center, with the Pokermantis on his right and Mark Sykes on his left. The onlooker doesn’t understand how Jason still has chips, either.
With the big stack at table 2 a few levels back, Jason Pardy had opened and picked up a couple callers. The flop was pure gin, the
. Pardy sagely trapped, checking the flopped third nuts into a bet and raise. He moved all in, but the flop reaggressor said something he didn’t want to hear – “if the board pairs, you win,” turning over a slowplayed
.
No flush came, and when the stacks were counted down, Pardy was left with a single big blind, 400. He naturally got it in with the , and this time flopped unbreakable – a straight flush.
He then doubled not once but twice over, has been grinding, and is now just another average stack, looking for more in the Old School.

Jeff Needleman on table 4 just maxed out his good fortune on the turn. Out of position against the button, he check called the holding
, likely thinking it was too easy of a cbet for his opponent.
The float turned miraculous, the , for Jeff, not just because of his full house, but because the action indicated he had been wrong on the flop and needed the help.

Smashed it: Needleman, center, eyes the button’s remaining chips. Andrew Klein, the poker athlete, looks on.
Jeff chose to lead the full house on the turn for 2,000. The BU raised to 5,000, and the clicking war continued until both stacks where in the middle. The BU flipped up , and needed a nine or king to bail out his overplay.
No luck, and Needleman, covering, rises past 90,000.
Meanwhile, a short stacked Blake Whittington, down to ten blinds, shipped it in with fives, but couldn’t fade Panagiotis Maragelis, who made the call with . Panagiotis got there on the turn. The Black Chip Bounty champ tossed his take-out pasta in the trash, and headed out.
Panagiotis rises to a healthy 45,ooo.
