Upon arrival at the table, we found Paula Alibrandi (bb) with her deepest stack all-in and Seat 7 in the tank. The board read and there was about 6,000 in the pot.
Eventually seat 7 folded, saying he had pocket Queens. Paula made the courtesy show of her pocket Aces and collected the pot.

One year ago, the Deepest Stack drew a combined total of 726 entrants from both flights, creating a prize pool of more than $211,000. They wrapped it up shortly after the dinner break on Day 2 when the final nine players agreed on an ICM adjusted payout agreement.
Ephraim Uzan was the chip leader and claimed 1st place, along with $21,851 and the Borgata Poker Open trophy.

The decks have been cleared after the first week of the 2017 Borgata Poker Open. Nine Main Events have been completed and eight Borgata Hotel replica trophies have new homes. Today we’ll kick off the second week with the Deepest Stack.
This event has two starting flights, both of which run today, at 11am and 5pm. Flight A is in motion here in the Tournament Area. Flight B will overlap starting at 5pm, then survivors return Tuesday at 12 noon for Day 2.
Players start with 40,000 chips and all levels are 30 minutes long. Late registration and unlimited re-entries are available until the start of level 13 (about 5:45pm).
As you may or may not have heard, the 2018 Borgata Poker Open will be running in a new temporary tournament area. Instead of the Event Center where we have been in the past, BPO tournaments will be running on tables in the Signature Room, the Poker Room, and a new Tournament Area in between.
The slot machines have been removed from this area and poker tables are in. This new setup is just for this series and in January we’ll be back in the Event Center for the 2019 Winter Poker Open.
This new tournament area is perfectly situated between Bread and Butter on one side and the escalator to the Marketplace Eatery on the other, giving players quick and easy access to refreshments. It’s also just a few steps to the Race and Sports Book for those who need to place a bet and the North Entrance, for those who need to step outside for some fresh air.
Online registration is closed, but on-site registration begins at 12 noon Monday, September 3rd and will remain open until midnight. Beginning Tuesday, registration will be open from 8am to midnight daily throughout the series at the Cashier windows across from the entrance to Bobby Flay’s.
