The fifth and final Event 1 flight drew a total of 988 entries and approximately 150 Day 1E players remain. After 17 levels of play it’s Itzik Shamailov leading the way with 647,000 which is good for the overall chip lead.
Jared Palmer is the only other player this flight over half a million with 509,000 and Mickey Ma rounds out the top three with 479,000.
Approximately 430 combined Day 1A-E survivors will return on Friday September 7 at 12 P.M. to resume Day 2 play.

In one of the last hands of the previous blind level a player limped in from middle position. A late position player raised to 8,000 and Mike Marder called from the big blind.
The middle position player called and they went three handed to the flop. It checked to the late position player who bet 11,000 and Marder checked raised all in for 40,500.
The middle position player re-shoved all in for about 70,000 and the late position player folded his face up. Marder showed
and his opponent turned over
for the nut flush draw.

Her opponent went deep into the tank and the two exchange a bit of table talk. He eventually called only to see Parker table for the nut straight with the flush re-draw and he was drawing dead holding

There are still more than 400 players remaining here in our fifth and final Event 1 flight. With such a massive field it’s hard to pick out the chip leader but we spotted two familiar faces starting to chip up.
Brett Apter just raked in another pot and he is sitting behind a big stack of about 170,000.
Just a few tables over in the temporary tournament area is Zach Donovan. We caught Donovan mixing it up in a pot with his opponent and he checked the river. He opponent checked back and he got a smile from Donovan.
“I win said Donavan” showing his for bottom set to take the pot and he chipped up to about 120,000.

We caught up to the three handed action on a board of and there was about 50,000 in the main pot. A short stacked player was all in and Stephanie Hubbard re-shoved all in for 19,100.
