Taha Maruf started the day with just 38,000 and managed to spin it all the way up to the Day 2 chip lead. Taruf put 794,000 in the bag and is one of only three players to bag over 700,000. After being down to just 100,000 before the dinner break Ari Engel (pictured) was able to mount quite the comeback. He finished the day with a second place chip stack of 747,000.
Just behind him is Phong “VIP” Nguyen who scooped a massive pot in the last hand of the day eliminating Brian Altman. The players will return tomorrow Wednesday September 21 at 12 P.M. noon to resume Day 3 play.
