As most of the focus has been on the shorter stacks, the deeper stacked players are still contesting pots and in a recent hand, Darren Elias even decided to throw some extra incentive on the table for Kane Kalas.
Kane opened the action to 260,000 pre-flop and Elias would call from the big blind.
The flop would come {4c}{Ac}{Js} and both players would check.
The turn would bring the {Jh} and Elias would check to Kane, who would bet out 525,000.
Elias thought for a second and then reached in his pocket to pull out a $100 bill. He threw it on the table, basically saying, “I’ll pay for you to show.” to Kalas.
Kalas wouldn’t take the money, but would show {Qc}{8s} for a stone cold bluff.
Elias would make a mental note of the play, and slide the money back in his pocket, there’s better ways to waste $100.
