The biggest hand of the night, was also the last hand of the night as Jean Gaspard was sent to the rail in 7th place, coming one place short of the televised WPT BPO Championship Final Table.
The action began with Kane Kalas making a pre-flop raise to 365,000 with Jean Gaspard then moving all-in for his final 1,205,000.
Next to act was Darren Elias, who asked for a count and then made the call, sending a wave of excitement through the table, as Gaspard was definitely going to be at risk.
The table quickly folded back to Kalas, who, like he has dozens of times at the Final Table, took his time making his decision, eventually calling the bet. He and Elias would be heads up, both with a chance of knocking out Gaspard.
The flop would come {6d}{7h}{10h} and both Kane and Elias would check.
The turn was the {Jd} and Kane would lead out for 1,115,000. Elias would just call.
The river would bring the {4s} and both players would again check. With Kalas turning over {Qh}{Qs}.
Gaspard would flash his {As}{10d} for an inferior pair, while Elias would grimace and muck his hand.
Gaspard would throw his cards into the muck and begin to collect his things.
The rest of the players graciously congratulated him on his “Final Table” run, but he bows out one spot short of cameras, in 7th place, for $135,393.
