The loudest player at this years Borgata Summer Poker Open, was also one of the most successful, as Luis De La Cruz took down Event 13 for over $15,000 and gave everyone in the tournament room some hilarious quotes and memories in the process.
It’s not a surprise to see De La Cruz back, talking to everyone who will listen, and more importantly looking to keep his hot summer going into the Borgata Poker Open.
De La Cruz is again rocking his “famous” brown hoodie, which he wore on his way to his SPO championship, but he is rocking a new “hairstyle”, an orange, bleached afro.
But, he was quick to make sure everyone knew that they were still dealing with the same “defending champion” who is looking to add another trophy to his name during the Borgata Poker Open.
De La Cruz is sitting with an above average chip stack after eliminating a short stacked Liberty DeVivo at the end of Level 9.
