The end of Level 23 was filled with all-in action as Noemi Saleh found two doubles and James Lillis pulled himself out of the danger zone against Zhaoxing Wang.
Lillis opened under the gun to 60,000 and Saleh shoved the small blind for 181,000. Wang reshoved in the big blind and Lillis folded. Wang’s 8♥8♣ was in a flip against Saleh’s J♥10♥ and the J♠4♥3♣ flop put her in the lead. The turn and river held and Saleh found the first of two doubles.
The very next hand, Wang shoved the small blind with A♥5♦ and Lillis called off in the big blind for 265,000 with A♣7♥. A seven flopped and Lillis’s hand stood up to put him back over 20 big blinds.
Then, Aiman Abbassi opened the small blind to 40,000 and Saleh jammed for 425,000. Abbassi called with Q♥7♥ and was live against Saleh’s A♥9♥. The A♦J♠6♠ flop put her squarely in the lead and Saleh is at her final table peak. With the blinds about to go up, a look at the updated counts is below.
- Noemi Saleh – 920,000
- Zhaoxing Wang – 810,000
- James Lillis – 470,000
- Aiman Abbassi – 1,705,000
